Modern Christmas Ornament card

Modern Christmas is a favorite suite that was released as part of the September 2025 Online Exclusives. The papers and die work so well together.

Card Base: Cut Basic white 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic white paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss the card mat with the So Swirly embossing folder. Attach to the Basic White card base.

Card Front: Use the ornament die from the Ornamental Die set to cut an ornament from tree print paper in the Modern Christmas paper pack.

Use the 2nd largest die from the Branching Out Die set to cut a mat from gold foil. I cut the ornament hanger, from the Ornamental Die set, from the center of the mat.

Use the 3rd largest die from the Branching Out Die set to cut the gold star paper.

Attach the gold ornament hanger to the die cut ornament. Cut 6” of Baker’s Twine from the modern Christmas suite. Attach one end of the Baker’s Twine to the back of the ornament. Attach the other end of the Baker’s Twine to the back of the black/gold star piece cut with the Branching Out die. Attach this piece to the gold foil cut out with the Branching Out die. Attach both die cut papers & ornaments to the embossed card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Ornamental Christmas with black ink attaching this piece inside your card.
