I don’t what I like better about this card; that little anchor embellishment, the layered stamping, or that wonderful sentiment. Whatever you like best this is a great Father’s Day card or birthday card.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Balmy Blue paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut paper from Come Sail Away paper pack 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛

Attach card front to card mat, attach these to card base.

Cut Whisper White 3 X 4 inches.
Stamp Compass Rose image in soft suede to middle right side of white piece and sentiment at bottom in Night of Navy. Attach white piece to center of card front.

Stamp lighthouse in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White paper. Die cut image with die from Smooth Sailing dies. Attach die cut lighthouse to left of compass rose stamped on white center piece.

Knot a piece of Baker’s Twine around anchor embellishment and attach to card front (you could use glue dots or liquid glue).

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
