Ornamental Pine Swap Card
Ornamental Pine combined with a touch of gold to make a pretty Christmas card.
Cut an 8 1/2 X 11 cherry cobbler in half lengthwise to form card base; 4 1/4 X 11
cut Soft Suede card stock 4 1/8 X 5 3/8 to make mat, attach to card front
cut gold foil paper to 3 5/8 X 4 3/8; round corners
Cut Very Vanilla to 3 5/8 X 4 1/4; round corners
stamp bough branch from Ornamental Pine stamp set in corner of very vanilla piece, WITHOUT re-inking stamp image again to either side of your first stamped image
with soft suede ink, stamp pine cone on either side of first stamped bough branch, use the gold pen to add some gold to pine cone
Cut your stamped image into 3 pieces; each 1 1/8 wide; attach to gold foil piece
cut very vanilla 5/8 X 5 3/8; cover this piece with gold striped washi tape
attach gold washi tape piece to bottom of soft suede mat (see picture of card); attach gold foil piece above washi tape.
card insert:
cut very vanilla to 4 X 5 1/4;
stamp bough image in top left hand corner
(I prefer a very light image so I can stamp sentiment over bough, to get this light of image I stamp on scrap paper 3 times then stamp on card insert)
stamp sentiment with soft suede ink
Don't forget the envelope;
stamp the bough and pinecone on the back of the envelope
