Ornate Floral birthday in Coastal Cabana
Sometimes I like a card that just uses one color. Doing that in this card puts focus on that pretty embossing folder.
Card Base: Cut Coastal Cabana 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Coastal Cabana paper 4 X 5 ¼ and emboss with Ornate Floral embossing folders.
Cut 16” of ribbon. Attach to top of embossed card front, lining up edges so it can tie at the left side of the card front. Tie knot on left side of card front. I attached ribbon on back of the card front with tear & tape and used a glue dot to keep ribbon knot in place.
Die cut scalloped stitched rectangle from white paper with Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp sentiment with Coastal Cabana ink on this die cut piece. Attached stamped piece to right side of card front over ribbon with dimensionals. Attach 3 rhinestones to the stamped die piece.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
