Painted Christmas texture card front

Painted Christmas has some beautiful papers, but you take them up a notch when you emboss them. It adds a layer of texture which makes your card even more interesting.

Card Base: Cut Evening Evergreen 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Evening Evergreen 4 X 5 ¼ .

Card Front: Cut Painted Christmas print paper 4 X 4. Attach this piece to the lower edge of the Evening Evergreen card mat. Emboss this piece with the Tasteful Texture embossing folder. Cut 6” of Gold Fine Art ribbon, put tear & tape on the back of the ribbon. Remove backing from tear & tape and attach ribbon to card mat when print paper ends and wrap ribbon to back of card front. Attach card front to card base.

Use Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut the label, stamp sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink. Attach stamped label over ribbon on card front with dimensionals. Add 3 red rhinestones to the stamped label.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
