Paper Pumpkin July 2020 alternate Christmas Card
The lantern card piece in this kit makes a great Christmas card.
Card Base: Cut Garden Green 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Cut around the card front with the lantern, cutting off all white edges.
Attach this card to white card front (4 X 5 ¼) with dimensionals from your kit. Attach this piece to the Garden Green card base.
Cut Basic White ½ X 4. Stamp sentiment strip and card insert. Punch each end of the strip with Pick A Punch. Attach the stamped strip to the lower portion of the card front. Attach card insert to inside of your card.
Layer the two green wreaths and attach together with glue dots from your kit. Attach wreaths behind the top of the lantern and over the base of the lantern, I used glue dots.
Add gems from the Wonderful Gems pack.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
