This paper from Peaceful Place is perfect for card fronts. I stamped a sentiment at the bottom and used a clear envelope to make a shaker card. Easy Peasy

Card Base: Cut Smokey Slate 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Balmy Blue 4 X 5 ¼ .

Card Front: Cut tree print from Peaceful Place paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. This is a print that has trees across the top and bottom of the paper. I first cut the paper at 6”, so I had two strips with trees that measure 6 X 12. Then I cut each strip 5 ⅛ wide, cutting off the extra blank white at the bottom. You will have enough white left to stamp the sentiment. Cut the 5 ⅛ X 12 strips in to pieces 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛.

Stamp the card front with Basic Gray ink in the white space at the bottom of the trees.

Attach card front to blue card mat. Place these inside the clear envelope tight into one corner. Fold over the remaining side of the clear envelope tight to the back and attach tear & tape.

Place some sequins in the clear envelope over the top of the card front. You don’t need a lot, if you add too many you can’t read what you stamped or see the background.

Fold the clear envelope tightly to the back of the blue mat and attach with the seal at top of the clear envelope. Wrap ribbon around the shaker card front and knot at top of card. Attach tear & tape around the back of the clear envelope and attach to the card base.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
