Peony Garden Birthday wishes
This card is so pretty. I love all the pieces of the Peony Garden Suite and this card was a chance to use so many of them.
Card Base: Cut Basic Gray 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Petal Pink paper 4 X 5 ¼
Attach pink card mat to gray card base.
Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Use the scallop edge across the length of this piece.
Cut print paper from Peony Garden paper pack 3 ¼ X 5. Attach this print paper to white scallop front card front. Line up print paper so scallop shows up on the bottom.
Cut 6” of shimmer ribbon. Attach to card front approximately ¾ from bottom of print paper, wrap ribbon around to back of card front. Attach card front to card mat.
Stamp sentiment with Petal Pink ink on whisper white paper. Punch with Timeless Label. Punch another label from Petal Pink paper. Cut Pink Petal label in half. Attach one half to each side of stamped white label (see picture of card front).
Attach matted label to card front over the ribbon. Apply faceted Gems to stamped label.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
