Peony Garden in Flirty Flamingo
There are 3 papers in the Peony Garden paper pack that you can color. This allows you to make them any color you want. After coloring I added Wink of Stella to add a touch of glimmer.
Card Base: Cut Basic Gray 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Flirty Flamingo paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut gray & white floral paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Color floral paper. I used Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam, & So Saffron blends. After coloring, I used Wink of Stella on the flowers.
Cut Whisper White 1 ½ X 3 ⅞. Die cut top edge with Ornate Borders die. Stamp Happy BIrthday with Flirty Flamingo on this piece.
Attach stamped white piece on the colored card front. Attach card front to Flirty Flamingo card mat. Attach this to card base.
Add rhinestones to die cut white strip on card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
