I love sunflowers and plaid, how fun for me when I can put the two together. This is a card that could be used for so many reasons.

Card Base: Cut Bumblebee 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Early Espresso paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛, emboss with Pinewood Planks embossing folder

Die cut sunflower from Early Espresso paper. I cut it from the Early Espresso mat. The opening won’t show when you assemble the card.

Die cut flower center from Bumblebee.
Die cut leaves from Mossy Meadow paper.

Attach plaid strip to lower edge of embossed white card front, ¼” from bottom of card front. Attach card front to Early Espresso mat.

Attach leaves to card front by attach leave ends with tear & tape.

Attach Early Espresso sunflower to plaid sunflower base. I attached with glue to the back of the Early Espresso center. Attach sunflower pieces to card front over the attached leaves. Attach Bumblebee flower center with dimensionals.

Attach Gilded Gems to the card front.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
