Plaid Tidings Sunflower
Plaid Tidings paper + In Good Taste paper = great card. Add a pretty sunflower and your card is complete.
Card Base: Cut Merry Merlot 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front:
Cut Plaid paper 4 X 5 ¼ from Plaid Tidings paper pack
Cut wood grain paper 2 ½ X 4 ¼ from In Good Taste paper pack
Cut two strips Merry Merlot ½ X 5 ½.
Attach a strip of the Merry Merlot on the back of wood grain paper with ⅛ showing on the length of wood grain paper.
Attach the wood grain paper to the plaid card front.
Attach the card front to the card base.
Die cut the sunflower from Bumblebee paper. Die cut two leaves from Old Olive paper. Die cut sunflower center from Soft Suede paper.
Attach the two leaves to the back of the sunflower. Attach the sunflower with leaves to the card front.
Add 3 Gold Glitter Enamel dots to card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
