Polished Pink Pattern Party birthday card
Pattern Party paper pack has some great black and white papers. In this card I paired one of those prints with Polished Pink.
Card Base: Cut Polished Pink 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic Black paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut black and white floral print paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Use the dark Polished PInk blends to add color to flower centers. Adhere the floral card front to basic black mat.
Cut 12” of ribbon, wrap around the card front knotting the ribbon to the left of the card front. Attach card front/black mat to the Polished PInk card base.
Stamp sentiment with Polished Pink ink on Basic White. Punch out with Label Me Fancy punch. Punch again with Label Me Fancy punch to punch out a piece of Polished Pink paper. Cut the Polished Pink punched piece in half and attach one piece to back of the stamped punched piece at the back of the top and the other piece at the back of the bottom. Attach matted stamped sentiment over ribbon with dimensionals. Attach three Polished Pink jewels below the stamped sentiment.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
