Poppy Stripe
Have you seen the papers in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper? They are stunning. I used a poppy from one of the papers as the feature on this card. The card goes together quickly and delivers a big impact.
Card Base: Cut Basic Black 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Whisper White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut striped paper from Poppy paper pack 2 1/2 X 5 1/4
Attach striped paper to bottom edge of White card mat.
Cut 6 inches of black ribbon. Attach ribbon at top of striped paper, wrapping ribbon to back white card mat.
Attach card mat to black card base.
Cut poppy using open flower die from Poppy Moments dies.
Cut leaves from paper in Poppy paper pack using leaf dies in Poppy Moments.
Attach leaves to back of die cut poppy. Attach this piece to card front with Stampin Dimensionals. Use Wink of Stella to add glimmer to center of Poppy.
