Rejoice in Merry Merlot

I make my sister's Christmas cards each year. This is the card I am making her this year I think the combination of the large sentiment on the front works with that beautiful ribbon. All it needed to finish it was a strip of that pretty Joyous Noel paper. This is a card design you could recreate in a variety of papers and sentiments.

Card Base: Cut Merry Merlot 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5

Cut two pieces soft suede:
mat for Joyous Noel paper: 2 1/2 X 4
Mat for sentiment: 2 3/8 X 5

Cut Joyous Noel paper: 2 3/8 X 3 7/8
Cut Whisper White paper for sentiment:2 1/4 X 4 7/8

Stamp sentiment with Merry Merlot ink on Whisper White paper

Attach Merlot & Copper ribbon to left of sentiment on Whisper White paper. Attach Whisper White paper Soft Suede mat.

Attach Joyous Noel paper to Soft Suede mat.

Attach matted Joyous Noel strip to left of card front.

Attach matted white sentiment piece with Stampin Dimensionals over Joyous Noel strip on bottom half of card front.
