The papers of Plaid Tidings made great cards. This plaid paired perfectly with the embellishments from In Good Taste Elements.

Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Early Espresso paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Plaid paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛

Attach plaid card front to card mat. Cut 6” of ribbon, attach the slider to the right side of the ribbon. Attach ribbon to card front, wrapping card around to the back of the card front. Attach card front to card Basel

Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on Whisper White paper, punch with Timeless Label punch. Punch again from Pretty Peacock paper. Cut Pretty Peacock punched label in half, attach each half to each side of the stamped white label. Attach stamped, matted label to card front over ribbon.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
