So Much to Love about You

Hubby and I are celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary this weekend. (41 years! How did that happen). The sentiment on the front of the card is so true of the guy I have been lucky enough to be married to for 41 years. I used the new Come Sail Away Suite of products to make this card.

Card Base: Cut Soft Suede 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mats:
Cut Night of Navy paper 4 X 5 1/4
Cut Soft Suede 3 1/8 X 4 1/8

Card Front: Cut Come Sail Away navy striped paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8

Attach Striped paper to Night of Navy mat and attach to card front.

Stamp sentiment on front of Come Sail Away Memories & More card from card pack. Mat this card with Soft Suede mat.

Attach matted stamped card card front to right of card front. (see picture of card for placement)

Start with twine hanging down card front to length you want, I used a glue dot to keep twine in place at top of card. Wrap twine around top of card twice and knot twine. Cut twine to finished length. I also use glue dots to hold twine in place at top of card.
