I am loving these new tag dies, I can see more cards in my future using these dies. This is a Father’s Day card, you could make the same card and add a birthday greeting inside instead for a masculine birthday card.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut wood grain paper from In Good Taste paper pack 4 X 5 ¼. I embossed the card front with the Tasteful Texture embossing folder so it would look like wood and have a texture like a piece of wood. Attach the card front to the navy card base.

From Very Vanilla cut the largest and smallest tag from Tailor Made Tags die set. I used the tags that had a flat top. There are also a set of tags in this die set with a curved top.

With Night of Navy ink, stamp the airplane on the largest tag and sentiment on the smallest tags. I used stamps from the Soar Confidently stamp set.

The tag dies also include pieces that go around the hole in the tag. I cut these pieces from copper foil and added them to the tag after I stamped the tags. I cut 3” of bakers twine and added it to each tag. I then separated the strands of the twine to make it look fuller.

I attach the larger tag in the lower right hand corner of the card front, attaching it flat to the card front. I attached the smaller tag in the upper left hand corner with dimensionals so that the sentiment was raised.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
