The Snowflake Splendor Suite comes together to make a pretty spinning snowflake card,

Card Base: Balmy Blue 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Front: Cut snowflake paper 4 X 5 ¼.

To make an opening for the spinning element: use just a bit of adhesive to hold the card front to the front of your card. Your opening needs to be bigger than your spinning element. My spinning element is 1 ⅞”, so my opening is 2 ¼’. You can make the opening with a punch or a circle die. Cut through both the card front and front of your card at the same time.

Once you have a circle in card front and card base, separate these pieces.

Spinner piece: I used the 2nd smallest stitched shaped die to cut two white circles. You could also use a punch to make these two circles. The die cuts a circle 1 ⅞’, you could use a 1 ¾” circle punch. Die cut four snowflakes (two of each size) from Balmy Blue glitter paper. Attach 1 snowflake to each white circle.

Open card flat. Lay 1 white circle with the snowflake in the center of opening. Lay metallic thread across card front overlapping spinner piece, above and below spinner piece. Use tear & tape to attach metallic thread tightly to the card front.

Attach the 2nd circle with the snowflake facing up over the back of the first circle (over the metallic thread on circle).

Attach card front over card base, lining it up so circles cut in card base and card front match.

Stamp sentiment of Whisper White paper with Balmy Blue ink. I die cut shape with die from Stitched So Sweetly dies. I added adhesive backed snowflakes to this sentiment.

Card Insert: The sentiment needs to be stamped low enough so that it doesn’t show through the opening for the spinner. I added some more adhesive backed snowflakes above the sentiment.
