Storybook Moments Garden Card

The papers in the Storybook Moments suite are so versatile. you can make a variety of cards. I am making this card a Birthday card.

Card Base: Cut Basic Beige 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Misty Moonlight paper 4 X 5 ¼.

Card Front: Cut garden print from Storybook Moments paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Cut Misty Moonlight check print from the Timeless Plaid paper pack 1 ⅝ X 5 ⅛. Attach the Misty Moonlight check print ½ inch from the bottom of the Garden Print paper.

Attach both papers to the Misty Moonlight card mat. Emboss card mat/card front with the Dashing Design embossing folder. Attach the embossed card mat/card front to the Basic Beige card base.

Use the 1 ½ square die from the Perennial Postage die set to cut 3 squares from Basic Beige. Attach die cut pieces from Storybook Moments paper pack to the squares with dimensionals. I used the boots, seed packs, and plants in starter pots for my card fronts. Attach the 3 squares with die cut pieces to the Misty Moonlight strip on the card front.

Add 3 Adhesive-Backed Texture Dots to the card front.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic Beige 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight check print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Simply Said with Misty Moonlight ink before attaching this piece inside your card. I attached a watering can die cut from the Storybook Moments paper pack to the card insert.
