Sun Prints Sympathy card
I make a lot of sympathy cards. This is a design you could use with any paper in your stash.
Card Base: Cut Gray Granite 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Use the Deckled rectangle die that has a measurement of 3 ¾ X 5 ⅛, it fits inside the 4 X 5 ¼ mat to cut a card front from the smallest gray granite print from the Sun Prints paper pack. Attach the print paper to the Basic White card mat. Attach these papers to the card base.
Card Front: Use the Deckled Rectangle die that measures 2 ⅝ X 3 ⅞ to cut a piece from Basic White. Use the next smaller Deckled Rectangle die to cut the gray granite and white print. Attach the gray granite print Deckled Rectangle to the Basic White Deckled Rectangle. Attach these two Deckled Rectangles to the upper left corner of the card front.
Die cut the larger rectangle label in the Painted Labels dies set from Gray Ganite. Die cut the smaller rectangle label in the Painted Labels dies set from Basic White. Stamp sentiment from Inspired Thoughts stamp set with Gray Granite ink on the white die cut label. Attach stamped white label to the Gray Granite label with stampin dimensionals. Attach the two labels to the lower right edge of the card front overlapping the Deckled Rectangles in the upper left corner of the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
