I needed a birthday card for young man in our family who is a farmer. This is what I made him. This would also make a great Father’s Day card.
Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Night of Navy paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Wood print paper from Pressed Petals paper pack 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛
Adhere wood print card front to Night of Navy mat. Cut 6” of denim ribbon. Attach denim ribbon to card front, wrapping and attaching ribbon to back of Night of Navy card mat.
Stamp tractor image with soft suede ink on a piece of Very Vanilla ink. Now lay dies from Stitched Nested Labels to see which size you like best with the image. Die cut Label.
Attach to front of card over denim ribbon. Attach a metallic designer element on label.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
