A card front that looks like an ornament, a fun idea for a Christmas card. Trimming the Town paper pack is perfect for this kind of card.

Card Base: Cut Misty Moonlight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Night of Navy paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Emboss the card front with the Winter Snow embossing folder. Attach card front to navy card mat, attach these to Misty Moonlight card base.

Die cut the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes dies from Whisper White paper. Die cut the largest scallop die in the Layering Circles dies from Real Red paper. Choose the circle from the Layering Circles dies that fits inside the white stitched circle. Use this circle to die cut the front of the ornament. I used the print from Trimming The Town that had the winding road.

Use the smallest Stitched Nested Label to cut a tag from whisper white paper. Attach this tag to the back of the stitched white circle, with enough of the label above the circle that allows you to punch a hole in the label. Punch a hole in the label.

Attach stitched white circle to the red scalloped circle. Tie ribbon to punched nested label attached to white circle. Attach this to the card front. Attach circle cut from Trimming the Town paper to white stitched circle with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
