Vellum Doily Birthday Card
The vellum doilies add a special touch to this card. I cut one doily into four pieces to get them the size I needed for the card front.
Card Base: Cut Petal Pink 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Gray Granite print paper 4 X 5 ¼. Attach Gray Granite print paper to card front.
Card Front: Cut Petal Pink floral paper 3 X 5 ⅛. Cut 1 vellum doily into 4 pieces by cutting it in half and cutting each half in half. Attach 3 of these squares on the back of right long side of Petal Pink floral paper. Attach this card front to the card mat with dimensionals.
Stamp Happy Birthday with Petal Pink ink on Whisper White paper. Punch out sentiment with Timeless Label Punch. Punch again from Gray Granite paper. Cut the Gray Granite paper in half, glue half to each side of white stamped sentiment. Attach stamped sentiment to card front (see picture for placement).
Adhere Elegant Faceted Gems to card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
