How fun are these ties? I made these for masculine birthday cards. They would be also be great for Father’s Day cards or any other reason to celebrate.

Card Base: Cut Night of Navy 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut White card stock 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut the striped gray suit print from the Well Suited Designer Series paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach card front to Card Mat. Attach these to the card base.

From white card stock, die cut the third largest stitched rectangle. From the other prints in the Well Suited Designer Series pack, cut 4 bow dies or 3 ties. I used the dies from Suit & Tie dies to cut the ties. Attach the ties to the stitched white rectangle with dimensionals. Attach the stitched rectangle to card front, leaving enough room beneath it to add the ½ banner piece.

Cut a strip of white card stock ½ X 3. Punch right end of this strip with the Banners Pick A Punch. Stamp sentiment with Night of Navy ink toward the right end of the strip. Attach the stamped paper strip under the stitched rectangle. Add a Matte Black dot to the left of the stamped sentiment.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
