Whimsy & Wonder Baby Card

Christmas paper packs can be used for a variety of cards. I used paper from Whimsy & Wonder and the fox from Penguin Playmates to make this baby card.

Card Base: Cut Mint Macaron 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 1/4

Card Front: Cut Mint Macaron print from Whimsy & Wonder paper pack 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach card front to card mat.

Cut 6” of Mint Macaron velvet ribbon, add tear & tape to the back of the ribbon. Attach to the card front/car mat and wrap ribbon around to the back of the card mat. Attach this piece to the card base.

Cut basic white ½ X 3, stamp sentiment with Mint Macaron ink. Punch each end with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. Attach punched label to ribbon on card front.

Fussy cut fox from Penguin Playmates paper pack. Attach to card front with dimensionals.

That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
