With Sympathy using Poinsettia Place paper
You don’t need to use Holiday paper packs just for Holiday cards. This pretty paper from Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper makes a lovely sympathy card.
Card Base: Cut Garden Green 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Soft Suede paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Whisper White paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Cut the leaf print paper from Poinsettia Place paper pack 3 ½ X 3 ⅞.
Stamp sentiment and leaf on top of white card front with Garden Green and Soft Suede inks. Attach the leaf print paper below the stamped sentiment on white card front. Cut a strip of Garden Green ½ X 3 ⅞. Attach this Garden Green strip just below the sentiment over the top of the leaf print paper.
Attach the completed card front to the Soft Suede card mat. Attach this to Garden Green card base.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
