Wood Leaf on Merry Merlot
This is an easy card with a lot of impact. I plan to use it for a Thanksgiving card. It could also be used for a sympathy card or a birthday card.
Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half lengthwise. You now have two pieces 4 ¼ X 11. Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Soft Suede paper 4 X 5 1/4
Cut leaf shape from wood textures paper.
Cut stitched shape square, use the one that leaf just fits in.
Adhere burlap ribbon around the bottom portion of Soft Suede card front.
Adhere Soft Suede card front to Early Espresso card base.
Adhere Merry Merlot square in top center of card front.
Attach leaf cutout with dimensionals to Merry Merlot square.
