Snowflakes in Balmy Blue
N ot all Christmas cards need to be red and green. I love the color combo of blue and silver. I didn't put a sentiment on the front of this card because I thought you could also use it for a winter wedding or a winter birthday.
Card Base: Cut Balmy Blue 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Cut Whisper White 3 1/2 X 5 1/4
Use the small narrow strip in thinlit set to to make a row of tiny circles along the front of balmy blue card base and whisper white (see picture for placement)
Cut another piece of balmy blue 2 3/4 X 5 1/4, use snowflake edge piece to cut snowflake edge along length of one side of balmy blue.
Cut row of snowflakes from silver foil.
Adhere silver snowflakes to balmy blue piece so that snowflakes line up above edge (see picture for placement).
Cut strip of silver glimmer paper 1/2 X 5 1/4
Adhere silver glimmer strip to top of balmy blue snowflake piece.
Adhere balmy blue snowflake strip to whisper white. Adhere this piece to card front so white is just above row of tiny circles (see picture for placement)
