Feels Like Frost Birthday Card in Gorgeous Grape |
|
T he Feels Like Frost paper pack is beautiful and so versatile. It is great for Christmas cards but also works well for cards like this birthday card.
Card Base: Cut Gorgeous Grape 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Gorgeous Grape paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss with dainty diamonds embossing folder.
Card Front: Cut Feels Like Frost paper 2 X 5 ¼. Cut mat from Highland Heather paper 2 ⅛ X 5 ⅜. Attach mat to Feels Like Frost card front. Attach to left side of embossed card mat. Attach to card base.
Stamp birthday sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink on Whisper White paper. Punch out with 1 ¾” circle punch. Punch out 2” circle from silver foil. Attach stamped white circle to silver circle.
Die cut open circle from die in Painted Labels dies from vellum paper. Attach silver & white circle to the Vellum piece. Attach these to the card front. Attach rhinestones to white circle.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
I embossed the envelope flap with the same embossing folder I used on the card front. Place just the envelope flap in the embossing folder.
