Forever Greenery Sympathy card |
|
I used one of my favorite papers from one of my favorite paper packs to make this sympathy card. My sister-in-law lost her mother suddenly. I wanted to make her and my brother a special sympathy card.
Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Old Olive paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: From Forever Greenery paper pack, cut paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛.
Attach card front to card mat. Attach these to the card base.
Die cut largest circular shaped die in Hippo & Friends die set from vellum. Die cut 2nd largest circular shaped die from Whisper White.
Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on white die cut piece. Attach stamped white label to vellum label. Attach these pieces to the card front.
Color 3 of the smallest clear epoxy droplets with Dark Pretty Peacock Blend. Let them dry and attach to the stamped label.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. Wasn’t that easy? For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
If you want to cover your envelope flap to match your card, you can find directions here: http://www.scrappinwithjoni.com/blogs/covering-your-envelope-flap
