Gnome with Snowflake Splendor
G nome for the Holidays is the cutest stamp set. It was the perfect match for the Snowflake Splendor paper.
Card Base: Cut Balmy Blue8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Snowflake Splendor paper 4 X 5 ¼. Attach card front to card base.
From Whisper White, die cut a Nested Stitched Label, I used the one that measures 3 ¾ from point to point.
From Balmy Blue glimmer paper, cut the next size Nested Stitched Label.
Stamp gnome with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp sentiment with Balmy Blue ink. Stamp hat again on scrap of paper from Snowflake Spendor. Fussy cut (cut closely around) the hat. Attach hat over stamped hat on the gnome. Color the gnome clothing & shoes with Balmy Blue blends.
Attach colored & stamped White nested stitched label to Balmy Blue glimmer paper. Attach this piece to the card front. Once this piece is attached to the card front, use Wink of Stella to add glimmer to the beard.
Attach a Blue-adhesive backed gem over the bell on the gnome’s hat.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. I stamped the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and added a strip ¾ X 4 of paper from Snowflake Splendor.
