Hey Birthday Chick card |

T he Hey Birthday Chick stamp set and coordinating dies are so fun to play with. You can make such a variety of cards.

Card Base: Cut Bermuda Bay 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut sprinkles paper from Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut white card stock 2 ⅜ X 4. Cut Blackberry Bliss paper 2 ½ X 4.
Cut the following pieces from Birthday Chick dies:
Two garlands from Blackberry Bliss
Happy Birthday from Bermuda Bay
Fence from wood grain paper, I used paper from In Good Taste
Stamp dancing hen on Hello Honey 6X6 designer paper. Die cut hen with die in Birthday Chick dies.
Stamp birthday chick on white paper. Die cut birthday chick with die in Birthday Chick dies. Color chick with Stampin Up Markers, I used Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, and Bermuda Bay.
I used the Stampin Up blending brush with Soft Suede ink to add color at base of the
White card stock to look like dirt. Attach this white piece to the Blackberry Bliss paper. Attach this piece to the sprinkles card mat ¼” from the bottom. Attach Sprinkles card mat to Bermuda Bay card base.
Attach die cut fence ½” from bottom of white card stock. Attach dancing hen and birthday chick over fence with Stampin dimensionals.
Attach garland at the top of Sprinkles card mat. Attach Happy Birthday below the garland.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
