Birthday Ice Cream Cone |
|
I ce cream is part of birthday celebrations,so an ice cream cone is perfect for a birthday card.
|
Card Base: Cut Flirty Flamingo 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut ice cream cone paper 4 X 5 ¼. Cut 12” of white crinkle seam binding and color with dark Flirty Flamingo Blends. Wrap ribbon around card front, 1” from bottom of card front knot it toward the left side of the card front.
Use Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch to punch out cone from cone print paper, punch out two scoops of ice cream from paper in the Ice Cream Corner paper pack.
Use the 2nd largest scallop rectangle in the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut a scallop rectangle from Basic White. Stamp Happy Birthday with Flirty Flamingo ink on the bottom of the scalloped rectangle.
Attach the stamped scalloped rectangle to card front over the ribbon. Glue the punched cone to the scalloped rectangle. Attach the ice cream scoops above the cone with Stampin dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
