Paper Blooms Scrapbook layout |
|
T he papers in Paper Blooms works wonderfully for scrapbook layouts. The large flowers work well on 12 X 12 pieces. I used the Pierced Blooms dies to cut out the flowers and add a stitched detail. You can also fussy cut some of the flowers to add interest to your pages.
Your base pages are two sheets of 12 X 12 Old Olive.
Cut the following:
Large Navy floral - Cut the 12 X 12 piece at 7”, you will then have one piece 5 X 12 and one piece 7 X 12.
Old Olive stripe - Cut one piece 3 X 12 and one piece 2 X 12
Cut two pieces of ribbon 14”
I used the circle paper to die cut the centers for flowers. I used the dies to cut and add detail to the flowers. I used glue dot to attach centers to flowers.
Fussy cut flowers, I used 5 Rococo Rose flowers and 4 Old Olive flowers. I also cut two of the larger Petal Pink flowers with attached leaves.
Left Side of Layout
Attach the 5 X 12 navy floral piece to the far right of the Old Olive base. Attach the 3 X 12 Old Olive stripe next to the navy floral paper.
Attach the Rococo Rose ribbon where the floral paper meets the stripe paper. I used tear & tape on back of ribbon, wrap ribbon around to back of Old Olive base.
Attach flowers along the edge of the stripe paper.
Right Side of Layout
Attach the 7 X 12 navy floral paper to the Old Olive base page. Attach the 2 X 12 old olive strip next to the navy floral paper.
Attach the Rococo Rose ribbon where the floral paper meets the stripe paper. I used tear & tape on back of ribbon, wrap ribbon around to back of Old Olive base.
Attach two Petal Pink flowers with leaves attached to the lower right hand corner.
