I sn’t this a fun way to use the die cut shapes from Stitched So Sweetly dies? The card comes together quickly, you could use this design for all kinds of cards.
Card Base: Cut Petal Pink 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut Petal Pink floral print paper 3 7/8 X 5 ⅛. Attach the card front to the white card mat.
Use the largest shaped die (die that is not a rectangle) to cut a piece of Petal Pink paper. Punch a hole in the top and bottom of this die cut piece (see picture of card front for reference).
Use the next smallest shaped die to cut a piece of Basic White paper. Stamp sentiment with Petal Pink ink on the white die cut piece. Attach the stamped white die cut piece to the Petal Pink die cut piece with Stampin’ dimensionals.
Cut two pieces of 4” of white ribbon, place ribbon at bottom and top of pink die cut running ribbon through the holes you punched in this pink die cut piece. Attach ribbon to the back of the white card mat at the top and bottom of your card front. Attach the card front to the Petal Pink card base.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
