Blending Brushes Leaf Card |
|
T his card began with black and white paper that I colored with a blending brush.
Card Base: Cut Crushed Curry 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Cut Leaf paper from Pattern Paper pack 4 X 5 ¼
Tap blending brush on Crushed Curry ink pad. Place card front on scrap paper, pull blending brush over card front until you have the desired color.
Attach the card front to the card base.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White. Punch with the Essential Tag punch. Use your Take Your Pick tool and make a hole at the top of the punched piece. Place a brad through the opening. Flatten the back of the brad ends to the back of the tag. Attach tag to card front with Stampin dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
I choose not to color the paper for the envelope flap, you could color the paper before adding it to your envelope flap.
