How to line up stamps on your Stamparatus |
|
I use my Stamparatus for all of my stamping. These are the steps I follow in setting up stamps on my Stamparatus. I find if I take the time to set up my stamps I don’t waste paper because I get a stamped image I can use every time.
Begin with grid paper, the paper will provide you the straight lines to help guide placement and show if your stamped image is straight. I have listed the grid paper in Supplies.
Trace the shape you are going to stamp on. For example, I trace the card insert if I am stamping the inside of my card or the die cut if I am stamping on a die cut piece.
Lay the stamp on the traced image on the grid paper. Use the grid lines to help you place your stamp where you want your stamped image to be.
Close the Stamparatus plate to pick up your stamp.
Pull the Stamparatus plate off with the stamp attached and look at your stamp backside, the side you ink. Do the words align the grid lines on your plate?
Do a practice stamp on your grid paper. How does it look? Make adjustments if needed.
