Thinking of You with Nature’s Beauty |
|
I send out a lot of Thinking of You cards. I needed a card with more of a masculine look. This card design would make a great birthday card, just change the sentiment.
Card Base: Cut Mossy Meadow 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Bumblebee paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut tree print paper from the Beauty of the Earth paper pack 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach the tree print paper to the Bumblebee card mat. Attach these to the Mossy Meadow card base.
Use the Tailor Made Tags to cut the largest tag from Basic White. Stamp deer from Nature’s Beauty with Soft Suede ink. Beneath that stamped image, stamp sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink. I used a sentiment from Sending Hugs. Cut two pieces of 4” of Crumb Cake Bakers Twine, insert both pieces in the top of the tag. Open the threads in the Bakers Twine to give it a fuller look. Attach the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
