Texture Chic Embossed card
T he papers in the Texture Chic paper pack are beautiful. I embossed the paper to add more interest to the card front.
Card Base: Cut Soft Suede 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Petal Pink paper 3 ¾ X 5. Cut print paper from Texture Chic 3 ½ X 4 ¾. Cut a strip of Distressed Gold paper ¾ X 4 ¼. Use the Gingham Embossing folder to emboss the print paper and gold strip of paper.
Card Front: Use the circular die in Painted Label dies to cut an open circle image from Vellum Layering Designs paper. Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle from Basic White paper. I used the 2 ⅛” circle, you could use a smaller die if it worked better with the sentiment you are using. Stamp sentiment with Soft Suede ink on the die cut white circle.
Use the photo of the card front as a guide, angle the Petal Pink and embossed Texture Chic paper and attach to the card base front. Add the embossed gold strip 1 ¼ from the bottom of the card front.
Attach the stamped circle to the vellum die cut piece with Stampin Dimensionals. Attach this piece to card front over the gold strip on the card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
