Rejoice In Him Easter Card |
![]() |
I made this pretty Easter card for staff at our church. The beautiful Dry Brushed Metallic paper adds some glimmer to to the card front.
Card Base: Cut soft Suede 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Front: Use Deckled Rectangles to cut the card mat and card front. I used the Deckle Rectangle die to cut a piece from Pool Party that measures 3 ¾ X 5 and a Deckle Rectangle die to cut a piece from Dry Brushed Metallic paper that measures 3 ¼ X 4 ¾. Attach the Dry Brushed Metallic piece to the Pool Party piece. Attach both of these to the card base.
Use the open circle die from Painted Labels to cut a piece from Vellum. Use the Stylish Shapes Die to cut a Basic White circle that fits inside the Vellum circle. Stamp sentiment from Rejoice In Him stamp set with Pool Party ink. Attach stamped circle to center of vellum circle piece, attach this to card front with dimensionals. Add three 21-23 In Color Jewels to the white circle.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Rejoice in Him stamp set with Pool Party ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
