Wild Wheat embossed Birthday card |
![]() |
T he Fresh As A Daisy paper pack includes a paper with smaller print pieces. I used on of them paired with Wild Wheat to make this card.
Card Base: Cut Wild Wheat 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: From the Fresh As A Daisy paper pack, cut the Wild Wheat daisy print 3 ¾ X 5 from the sheet that has multiple small pieces. Attach the card front to the Basic White card mat and emboss with the Exposed Brick embossing folder.
Cut 30” of linen thread. Double the thread, wrap around the card and knot in front of the card. Add 3 Neutrals Adhesive-Backed sequins to the card front. Attach the completed card front to the card base.
I used the Wild Wheat In Color 6X6 Designer Series Paper Assortment to cut a strip of paper for the card insert ½ X 4 and to cover the envelope flap 2 ¼ X 6.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Attach the ½ X 4 paper strip to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Cheerful Daisies with Wild Wheat ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
