Iconic Celebrations Sympathy card |
|
W ho would have thought a paper called Iconic Celebrations could be used to make a sympathy card? I paired a paper from this pack with a die from Frosted Forest to make this card.
Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut 1 ¾ X 5 ¼ Mossy Meadow stripe from Iconic Celebration paper pack, rip down the length of one side. Cut Early Espresso 1 X 5 ¼, rip down the length of one side. Attach the Mossy Meadow ripped paper to the far left of the white card mat.
Cut Early Espresso 2 X 4, attach adhesive sheet to the back of the Early Espresso paper. Use the tree die from Frosted Forest to cut a tree from the Early Espresso paper. Remove adhesive paper backing and attach the tree to the right side of the white card mat.
Attach the Early Espresso ripped paper to the far left of the basic white mat over the Mossy Meadow striped strip.
Attach the card mat to the Early Espresso card base. Add 3 Adhesive Backed Texture Dots to the card front..
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Unbounded Love with Mossy Meadow ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
