Easter Joy Bunny card |
|
T he Easter Joy suite has so many pieces to make some fun Easter projects. This time I used them to make a cute Easter card.
Card Base: Cut Crumb Cake 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss with the Beautiful Patterns embossing folder. Attach embossed white card mat to the Crumb Cake card base.
Card Front: Cut Crumb Cake 2 ⅛ X 5 ¼. Cut print paper of your choice from Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper 2 X 5 ¼. Attach the Easter Joy paper to the Crumb Cake paper. Emboss both papers with the Beautiful Patterns embossing folder. Attach the embossed papers to the embossed white card mat ½ from the bottom.
Stamp the bunny from the Easter Basket stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Tan Natural Hues paper. Die cut the bunny with a die from the Easter Basket die set.
Use the Perennial Postage die set to cut a rectangle 2 X 2 ¾ from Lemon Lolly. Use the grass die in the Easter Basket die set to a strip of grass from the green stripe paper in the Pleasant Patterns Speciality Designer Series Paper. Attach the strip of grass to the bottom of the Lemon Lolly rectangle and trim to the width of the rectangle. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the die cut bunny to the rectangle. Attach the rectangle to the card front over the embossed strip of Easter Joy paper.
Add 3 Easter Assortment embellishments to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Easter Basket stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Emboss the envelope flap with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing folder.
