Sunflower Fields Embossed card |
|
S unflower Fields is a beautiful and versatile suite of products. I will be making cards for birthday, anniversary, sympathy, and thank you from this suite.
I made this card in two versions. The change of paper for the second version is in parenthesis in the directions.
Card Base: Cut Mossy Meadow (Cajun Craze) cardstock 8 ½ X 5 ½. Fold the card base so the card base front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut floral print paper from Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper 3 ¾ X 5. Attach the print paper to the Daffodil Delight card mat. Emboss the papers with the Softly Woven embossing diary.
Cut one of the papers from Radiant Foils Speciality Paper 1 ¼ X 5 ¼. Attach this paper ½” from the bottom of the embossed mat. Attach the card front to the card base.
Use dies from Radiant Sunflower die set to cut pieces for a sunflower. I used a scrap from Radiant Foils for the center, a scrap of Daffodil Delight for the larger outer piece of the flower, and a scrap of Crushed Curry for the inner piece of the flower. Assemble the flower and attach the flower to the strip of Radiant Foils Speciality Paper with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Add 3 Radiant Gems to the embossed card front.
Card Insert: Cut Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a strip of the same paper used on the card front ½ X 4 (5 ¼). Attach the strip of paper to the top of the card insert. Use Pecan Pie ink to stamp a sentiment from the Radiant Sunflower stamp set on the insert before attaching the card inside the card base.
Envelope: Cut a 2 ¼ X 6 piece of the paper that you used on the card front. Attach to the envelope flap and trim using the envelope flap as a guide.
