Gathering Together Autumn card

Gathering Together is a beautiful pack of papers that includes small subtle prints and large leaf prints. I am using both kinds of papers with this card. I also used the embossing folder and linen thread that is part of the Gathering Together suite.

Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

Card Mat: Cut Basic Beige paper 4 X 5 ¼. Cut print paper 3 ¾ X 5 (Basic Beige with small gold leaves) from Gathering Together Designer Series Paper. Attach print paper to Basic Beige mat and emboss both papers with the Gathering Leaves embossing folder.

Card Front: Cut 22” of Early Espresso Linen Thread from the Early Espresso and Old Olive Linen Thread pack. Wrap the Early Espresso Linen Thread 3 times around the left side of the card front, attaching it to the back of the embossed mat. Attach the embossed mat to the card base.

Use the smaller leaf shape die from the Gathering Moments die set to cut a leaf from Gathering Moments Designer Series Paper. Attach the die cut leaf with dimensionals to the right of the Early Espresso Linen Thread. Add 3 Crajun Craze & Gold Dots to the card front.

Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 5 ¼. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set with Cajun Craze ink before attaching this piece inside your card.

Envelope Flap: Cut print paper from Gathering Together Designer Series Paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
