Watercolor In Bloom (PP Dec 2025) alt #2
The December 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit made beautiful cards. I used pieces from the kit to make this alternate card.
From your Paper Pumpkin kit you need:
A 3X 5” piece of the green & blue striped card base
Envelope
Larger of the rectangle vellum pieces
Card Base: Cut Pretty Peacock 5 ½ X 8 ½. Score at 1 ½ and 5 ¾, fold on score lines.
Card Front:
Cut the floral edge of the envelope 1 ¼ X 5 ¼.
Cut Basic White 2 ½ X 5 ¼, attach vellum rectangle to the Basic White with tape runner. Vellum will be larger than the Basic White piece, you will trim it after you emboss it.
Emboss the floral edge of the envelope and Basic White/Vellum rectangle with the Exposed Brick embossing folder.
Attach the embossed floral edge of the envelope to the 1 ½ side of the folded card front.
Attach the embossed Basic White/Vellum piece to the 2 ¾ side of the folded card front.
Use the large leaf die from Nature’s Symphony die set to cut a leaf from the green & blue striped card base.
Overlap the leaf pieces so the leaf die cut fits on Basic White/Vellum embossed layer and attach with mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add 3 Low Profile Sparkle Dots around the leaf die cut.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope: Emboss the envelope flap with the Exposed Brick embossing folder.
