Darling Ducking InColor Club Birthday Card

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Card Base: Cut Darling Duckling 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so that the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

   Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss with the So Swirly embossing folder. Attach embossed mat to the Darling Duckling card base.

   Card Front: Use the Textured Notes Die Set to cut a 2 ¼ X 3 ¾ rectangle from Darling Duckling and a 1 ⅝ X 3 ¼ rectangle from Strawberry Slush. Cut two prints Floral In Bloom Designer Series paper one piece 1 ⅞ X 3 ⅜ and one piece 1 ⅜ X 2 ⅞.

   Attach print papers to the corresponding rectangles with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach the Darling Duckling rectangle with print paper to the upper left corner of the embossed card mat. Attach the Strawberry Slush with print paper overlapping the Darling Duckling in the lower right corner. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the right side and glued the left corner to the Darling Duckling rectangle/print paper.

2. Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4 . Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from Simply Said stamp set with Strawberry Slush ink before attaching this piece inside your card.

3. Envelope Flap: Cut print paper used on the card front 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
