Painterly Pears card

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Card Base: Cut Darling Duckling 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.

   Card Mat: Cut Darling Duckling paper 4 X 5 ¼.

   Card Front: Cut dark pear print from Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper 3 X 6.
   Cut Darling Duckling grid paper from Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper 1 X 5.
   Attach the grid paper ¼” from top of dark pear print paper.

   Attach the lower left corner of the two Painterly Pears papers ⅛” from the bottom left corner of the Darling Duckling card mat and the upper right corner of the Painterly Pears papers ⅛” from the upper right edge of the Darling Duckling card mat. Use the Darling Duckling mat as a guide to trim the Painterly Pears papers even with the edges of the Darling Duckling mat. Emboss these papers with the Damask Designs embossing folder. Attach the embossed card front to the card base.

   Use the dies from Perfectly Pears dies to cut pears and leaves from the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper. (I trimmed the white from the pears & leaves). Die cut a white circle from Spotlight on Nature dies the size to fit both pears. Stamp sentiment from Perfectly Pears stamp set with Secret Sea ink. Attach the pears & stems to the white die cut circle.

   Attach the white circle with pears to the embossed card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add 3 green Low Profile Sparkle Dots to the card front.

2. Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.

3. Envelope Flap: Cut print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
