Artistic Leaves Gratitude card |
|
O ne stamp set that can do so much. My directions show you how to print paper to add interest to those leaves.
Card Base: Cut Crumb Cake 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Crumb Cake paper 4 X 5 ¼. Emboss card mat with the Birch Wood embossing folder.
Card Front: Use the Stylish Shapes dies to cut the long wide banner piece from Crushed Curry. Use the Stylish Shapes to cut the shorter wide banner piece from Basic White. Stamp sentiment from Artistic Leaves stamp set with Crushed Curry ink on white banner.
Stamp leaf from Artistic Leaves stamp set. I stamped the leaves on the 6X6 Designer Series papers that come in color families. I inked my stamp with a darker color than the paper. For this card I used Crushed Curry ink on Darkling Duckling paper, Pumpkin Pie ink on Timid Tiger paper, Cajun Craze ink on Calypso Coral paper and Cherry Cobbler ink on Real Red ink. Fussy cut the leaves.
Cut 6 ½” of Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim ribbon. Approximately 1 ½” from the right side of the ribbon attach the Crushed Curry banner piece beneath the ribbon. Attach the stamped white banner on top of the ribbon near the right edge of the Crushed Curry banner. Place tear & tape to the back of the ribbon on each side of the ribbon.
Attach 3 leaves behind the Crushed Curry banner. Remove the backing from the tear & tape ribbon. Attach the ribbon to the card front, (see picture for placement) wrap ribbon to the back of the card mat.
Attach the card mat to the card base. Attach the remaining leaf over both banners to the left of the stamped sentiment. Add 3 green low profile sparkle dots to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Emboss the envelope flap with the Birch Wood embossing folder.
