Christmas Greenery Color Card |
|
D o you like coloring? It is not my first choice for crafting, but today in our team meeting we got tips for coloring stamped images. This is the card I made with my colored image.
Coloring: Stamp image from Christmas Greenery with Black Staz On ink on Basic White card stock. Add color to the edge of the stamped image in a circular motion with a Stampin’ Up! Water Color pencil. I used Melon Mambo on the flower petals, Old Olive on the leaves, and Basic Gray on the bow.
Use an aqua painter to spread the color to more of the stamped image.
Die cut the completed image with a die from Christmas Greenery Dies.
Card Base: Cut Basic Black 5 ½ X 8 ½. Fold in half so the card front measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Melon Mambo paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut Old Olive 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Emboss with the Peaceful Greenery 3D embossing folder. Attach the embossed card front to the Melon Mambo card mat. Attach both papers to the Basic Black card base.
Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach your die cut colored piece.
